This series of work reflects the collision between people’s memory of their past and of real life. Ming believes the rapid changes in this era leave imprints on our minds, causing our memories to be blurred. She believes that this produces memorable fragments, through which people can spiritually meet with their past. In these paintings, Ming regards herself as a bystander, recalling all the experiences that took place in the past as if watching a movie fly through her mind, with only vague fragments and emotional feelings left. Although the picture appears blurred as if in fast motion, the caught moments are eternal.
